Anything else you'd like voters to know about you?
I was the winner of 2002 election for Congress seat, but my opponent, the Hawaii Democratic party chair and chief election officer plotted against me and prevented my eminent victory in General.
1) Why are you running for office?
I can be a great asset to Congress. Four of the languages I speak are spoken in the war-torn region. I know, and have studied the roots of Iraq Wars, have extensive work in educating our public, and authored 3 books on Iraq Wars by 2006.
2) Should the U.S. set a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq? Explain.
No. This will intensify the low level sectarian civil war, forcing us to go back with 4 times more troops to stop a bigger war with terrorists, and especially foreign fighters coming from other countries. We must first secure an Independent Kurdistan in the North, and an Arab state in the South like it was prior to 1923, before pulling out.
3) Should the federal government impose stricter fuel- and energy-efficiency standards on cars, appliances, etc.?
Absolutely. This is the minimum that should be done. We must allow the already developing battery powered vehicles to continue with their productions full speed, and rapidly reduce the use of Gas Guzzler vehicles, and increase the use of Solar, Wind, Ocean, and Battery powered energy vehicles, appliances, etc.
4) How would you get affordable health care to more Americans?
Through a comprehensive Universal Healthcare system with a self-detecting mechanism to reduce corruption of abuse in billings, and unnecessary medical exams, as well as cost control on medical supplies with their competitive market.
5) Do you support the restriction that only U.S.-flagged cargo and passenger ships may serve Hawai'i? Why?
Yes. Otherwise there would be chaos with too many ships, and people flooding our Coasts. This would also affect our labor force, and shipping industry.
6) Do you support a Native Hawaiian recognition bill?
I would probably amend Akaka bill, and make its language less ambiguous, and then try to pass it again through Congress.
7) What changes, if any, would you make to the No Child Left Behind education law?
I would allow specific accommodations for kids with lower level of their learning abilities to sit in appropriate classes with learning disability, while other faster learning students excel in other classrooms.
8) What’s the No. 1 piece of legislation you’d work to pass in 2009?
Enable a larger troop Withdrawl through securing an Independent Kurdistan state in the North, and an Arab state in the South, which is the way they existed before 1923, and the only way we can end this war without our sacrifices going in vain. This will save thousands of more lives otherwise lost, and billions of dollars in military costs, which can otherwise be spent on our own domestic needs.
