The AMERICAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION of Honolulu will join the HAWAI
I TECHNOLOGY TRADE ASSOCIATION in offering a two-part, breakfast and lunch seminar on issues facing Hawaii’s technical market. Two sessions — a breakfast discussion by tech company representatives looking at emerging technology in Hawaii and a luncheon session focusing on global opportunities and Internet technology developments — are planned 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Dole Cannery, Lanai Ballroom, second floor. "EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW From an Attorney But Were Afraid to Ask" is the title of an interactive, "round-table-type" discussion sponsored by the local chapter of the SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT. Individual table discussions will include workplace violence, employee privacy, disability regulations, discrimination and harassment, and employee handbooks.
