Evening gown show and personal appearance by designer Carmen Marc Valvo, whose forte is the special occasion gown, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., with informal modeling in the morning and evening, Friday, Neiman Marcus Ala Moana, second-floor Galleria.

Fern Bratten, a leading designer of plus-size fashions, will make four personal appearances at Liberty House stores, 7 p.m. Friday, Windward Liberty House, second floor; noon and 3 p.m. Saturday, Ala Moana Liberty House, special events room; 1 p.m. Sunday, Pearlridge Liberty House, second floor.

A Big Island fashion show featuring designs of Montsuki from Honolulu, Joan Blackshear from the Big Island and Oyako from California, a fund-raiser for the Pacific Tsunami Museum, 11 a.m. silent auction, luncheon and fashion show, Sunday, Hilo Naniloa Hotel, Crown Room.
