Hawaii forward Crystal Lee, who averaged 30 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games last week, has been named the Western Athletic Conference womens basketball Player of the Week.
It is the third time this season she has received the honor, the most by any player in the league.
Lee, a 5-foot-11 senior from Spokane, Wash., had 28 points and seven rebounds in the Wahines 91-61 victory over San Jose State on Friday. She made 8 of 15 shots, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range, and 8 of 9 free throws.
On Sunday, she scored a career-high 32 points and grabbed six rebounds in a 73-67 loss at Texas Christian. She made 8 of 16 shots, including 3-of-8 from 3-point range, and sank 13 of 13 free throws.
Hawaii (20-6 overall, 11-4 WAC) plays its final home game Thursday against Texas-El Paso (8-18, 4-11).
