Frei (1-4) spaced six hits and struck out six in the first game. Holly Harn had two hits, including a two-run single during a four-run third inning that broke a 1-1 tie.

George (2-3) scattered seven hits, struck out three and did not walk a batter in the second game. It was her second shutout of the season.

Lyza Halas had two RBIs and Alisha Durette had three hits, stole three bases and scored twice.

BYUH improved to 3-7; Montana State-Billings fell to 0-4.

BYUH will play host to Hawaii Pacific (10-0) in a doubleheader Thursday at 2 p.m.

Bowman won all three women events, including pulling a 6,500-pound truck.
