Potty-training advice sought

Advertiser Staff

Time is hurrying past — even if your child’s potty training isn’t.

March 20 is the deadline to send in your tips and philosophies for successful potty training. With 3.5 million youngsters in America learning to use the toilet each year, there has got to be a lot of wisdom out there.

What advice can you give other parents? What worked for potty training your child? Giving treats? Running water? Turning the task into a game?

You can help other parents by sending your tried-and-true techniques to: Potty Training, Ohana Section, The Honolulu Advertiser, P.O. Box 3110,

Honolulu, HI 96802; e-mail ohana@honoluluadvertiser.com or fax 535-8170. Be sure to include your name, city and telephone number. We’ll share the ideas in an upcoming story in the Ohana section.
