Many of us remember our proms with starry eyes. But for others, the memory is one of horror.

As prom season 2001 gets under way, we would like to hear your stories of prom disasters and how you got through them. Give us the year, the school, your name and what neighborhood you now live in. If you've got prom photographs you're willing to share, send them. We'll scan them in and return them.
