Forms are also available through the Internet and at many post offices and public libraries.

Need a refund? For automated refund information, call (800) 829-4477.

Other questions? For tax questions, you have two options. You can call the IRS' line that provides recorded tax information at (800) 829-4477. To get a person to help you on the phone, call (800) 829-1040. Both lines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
