Pihana opens headquarters

Honolulu-based Pihana Pacific said today it has launched its Asia Pacific regional headquarters, Internet Exchange data center and Network Operation Center, all located in Singapore.

Pihana has raised $236 million since its founding last year, including $190 million in private equity investments with Goldman Sachs as lead investor. Pihana's 30,000-square-foot facility is the third to open in the Asia Pacific. The company said it will open five other facilities, in Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Hong Kong and Sydney by June.
