Kamehameha Highway closed after accident near Waimea Bay

Kamehameha Highway from Laniakea to Pupukea was closed in both directions this afternoon after a fatal accident today.

Police said one person was killed and two were in critical condition after the accident.

Local residents are being allowed through the accident area, but otherwise the highway was closed to traffic while police investigate the accident.
