Tip-Off
Makaha Sons and Ten Feet

By Wayne Harada
Advertiser Entertainment Editor

It'll be a buffet of music and fun when the Makaha Sons team up with Ten Feet to present a Secretary's Day luncheon buffet show, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 25 at the Pacific Ballroom of the Renaissance 'Ilikai Waikiki Hotel.

Rodney Villanueva, also on the bill, will provide a dash of comedy.

The Sons — featuring Louis "Moon" Kauakahi, John Koko and Jerome Koko — will offer a sampling from its wide-ranging repertoire, tapping traditional, contemporary Hawaiian music and some hapa-haole tunes.

Ten Feet, a local fave, will provide a measure of contemporary reggae, Jawaiian and pop. Its members are Josiah Kekoa, Andres Delos Santos, Ericson Carnante, Jojo Guzman and Nathan Martin.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Tickets: $30. Reservations: 944-6372.
