Cathy Foy plays title role in DHT's 'Victor/Victoria'

Cathy Foy, a former Miss Hawai'i who has numerous theatrical credits in New York and in the Islands, will portray the title role in Diamond Head Theatre's "Victor/Victoria," the musical popularized by Julie Andrews on screen and on Broadway. It runs May 18 through June 3.
It is a tale, set in the 1930s, about an out-of-work actress pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman, with resulting hilarious complications.
The cast also will feature Greg Howell as Toddy, Charles Degala as King Marchan, Tara Hunt as Norma Cassidy, Ryan Lympus as Squash, Braddoc DeCaires as Henri Labisse, John Hunt as Andre Cassell and Kristi Kashimoto as Flower Seller.
The ensemble features Lance Bateman, Matt Castano, Kris Chun, Ed Dias, Sarah Doudna, Beth Finke, Sam Franzella, Renee Garcia, Fabienne Herold, Blasi Jacobi, Barbara Kaneshiro, Sean Lau, Shannon Lo, Andrea Lopes, Deanne Luster, Gary Masuoka, Twan Matthews, Mitch Mung Lim, Paul John Ong, Elisa Paet and Elizabeth Wenzel.
John Rampage, DHT artistic director, will direct. The production team also includes Emmett Yoshioka, music director; Wally White, set designer; Hugh Hanson, costume designer; Dawn Oshima, lighting designer; Kurt Yamasaki, sound designer; Doug Scheer, props master; Lisa Konove, stage manager.
