"The Dish": Based on the true story and set in Parkes, Australia, in 1969, this is a combination historical drama/comedy about a satellite dish installation that served as a relay between NASA and Apollo 11 during the historic mission to the moon. Along the way, a local blackout causes them to "lose" Apollo 11. Patrick Warburton plays the NASA scientist working with the Australians; Sam Neill plays the leader of the team. Opens tomorrow at Kahala 8-Plex. (PG-13).
"Freddy got fingered": When a man (Tom Green) is forced to move back in with his parents, he decides he likes it so much there that he refuses to move back out again. "Tailor of Panama": Based on the novel by John Le Carre. Harry Pendel (Geoffrey Rush), a tailor in Panama, is asked by a British spy (Pierce Brosnan) to listen to the conversations of the Panamanian generals and politicians he serves. But the spy doesn't know that Harry isn't who he claims to be, and the things he reports to the Brits aren't all that accurate, either.
