A mammoth production of Goethe's "Faust" and the annual dance concert "Spring Footholds" will resume at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa, now that the faculty strike has ended.

• "Faust I" will be performed at 8 p.m. Thursday and May 2; and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and May 5.

"Faust II" will be at 8 p.m. Friday and May 3; and at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and May 6.

All shows will be at Kennedy Theatre. Tickets — $12 general admission, $9 seniors, military, UH faculty/staff, $7 students, $3 UH students with valid ID — are available at the box office and Ticket Plus outlets, 526-4400. Non-students purchasing tickets to both parts will be given a $2 discount.

• The May 2-3 performances of "Spring Footholds" have been canceled. The dance program instead will be offered at 8 p.m. May 4-5 and at 2 p.m. May 6 at the Earle Ernst Lab Theatre.

Tickets — $9 general admission, $7 students, seniors, military, UH faculty/staff, $3 UH students with valid ID — are available at the Kennedy box office.

Tickets to either event can be charged by phone at the box office, 956-7655.
