TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE: "Sex in the 20th Century," 7 p.m., History Channel. Maybe the 1960s weren't the real sexual revolution after all. This documentary the second part of a series that continues through Thursday points firmly to the 1920s. The notion of following-the-rules had been shattered by Prohibition. Young people some of them back from overseas flings during World War I were in a party mood. At the same time, sex was reaching advertising, movies and college campuses. Even Sigmund Freud, who was originally obsessed only with male sexuality, was now discussing female emotions. All of this brought changes, this interesting hour says. F. Scott Fitzgerald proclaimed it the Jazz Age and it would blaze hot until the economic Depression of the 1930s and the social repression of the '50s doused it.
"JAG," 7 p.m., CBS. Anne-Marie Johnson, formerly of "In the Heat of the Night," guest stars as a congresswoman who arrives at the wrong time, soon vowing to kill a project.
"Chains of Love," 8 p.m., UPN (seen on KFVE). Last week's opener was both tacky and fascinating, with a shallow-seeming guy chained to four near-interchangeable women. Tonight we see the reverse as one woman is chained to four guys.
"InStyle: Celebrity Moms," 7 p.m., NBC. Here's a look at the at-home lives of stars. That includes Josie Bisset, who dumped "Melrose Place" and her acting career so she could focus on having children.
"Dark Angel," 8 p.m., Fox. Nana Visitor ("Star Trek: Deep Space Nine") guest stars as Madame X, Lydecker's boss, investigating two killings by one of the runaways.
"Frasier," 8 p.m., NBC. In a funny rerun, Frasier violates a key rule of career development: Never date the wife of your boss.
"Harvest of Fear," 9-11 p.m., PBS. Two terrific shows, "Nova" and "Frontline," have another of their combined investigations. This one looks at the effects of genetically altered food.
"NYPD Blue," 9 p.m., ABC. Two teens become the first suspects when a deliveryman is found dead.
