JOANN "JOEY" KALLANDER, 53, of Anchorage, Alaska, died July 12, 2001. Born in Honolulu. Known as the "Pineapple Princess," she graduated from Kaimuki High School and attended the University of Hawai'i. KAREN TOSHIKO KOJIMA, 98, of Wailuku, Maui, died July 25, 2001. Born in Makawele, Kaua'i. A homemaker and member of Wailuku Hongwanji Mission.
