ROSA MARIA BANTA, 59, of Honolulu, died July 30, 2001. Born in Nome, Alaska. A baker with Moili'ili Star Market. ANNE RANDOLPH, 66, of Kailua, O'ahu, died May 20, 2001. An attorney who served 12 years with the Office of the Public Defender, three years with the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission and nearly three years with the attorney general. Survived by son, Matthew; daughter, Amanda; granddaughter, Kayla Malott; brother, Robert Jud. Scattering of ashes 10 a.m. tomorrow at Lanikai Beach, in front of the Kaiolena Drive beach access; gathering of family and friends to follow at Lanikai Community Center, corner of A'alapapa and Kaiolena.

SHINOBU "DOC" TOFUKUJI, 92, of Honolulu, died July 31, 2001. Born in Honoka'a, Hawai'i. Retired Kaiser Permanente Foundation pharmacist; and member of Club 100, 442nd Regimental Combat Team. Survived by brothers, Mamoru and Frank.
