An accomplished ballroom dancer who taught for the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association. A member of the Amateur Ballroom Dance Association and of Aloha Dance, International, Pan Pacific, Gardenia, Wahiawa and 'Aiea. Survived by sons, Denis Furtado, Mark Furtado, Richard Furtado, William Furtado Jr. and Robert Furtado; companion, Joseph Domingo; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sisters, Doris Kim, Bessie Choi, Betty Hodder, Daisy Park, Clare Lee, Evelyn Shiyama and Eleanor Kim.
