Fall kids' art classes planned

You can encourage creativity by enrolling your child in one of several courses being offered by the Academy Art Center's fall 2001 session of studio art classes.

Topics include: "Exploring Two- and Three-Dimensional Art," for grades K-4; "Cartooning," for grades 4-6; and "Drawing and Painting," for grades 5-12. Classes run Sept. 22 through Dec. 8 and will meet on Saturdays. Tuition is $100 per child, or $90 for children of academy members. (The center also will offer adult art classes Sept. 11 through Dec. 15 for $140 per person or $130 for academy members, plus other fees. ) Registration for keiki and adult courses will begin Wednesday.
