Kaua'i man killed in crash

WAILUA, Kaua'i — A Kaua'i man in his 40s was killed when his Ford Bronco flipped after it collided with two cars on Kuhio Highway near Wailua Golf Course yesterday, officials said.

The man, whose identity was not released, apparently hit the car in front of him, then swerved to the left and hit an oncoming car before his vehicle flipped, a fire department spokesman said.

The accident was reported about 9 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

One person in the car that was rear-ended was slightly injured.
