Suiza Foods Corp., the nation's largest dairy processor and owner of Hawai'i's Meadow Gold Dairies, said today its second-quarter profits rose slightly despite higher prices for raw milk.
Suiza said it earned $34.6 million, or $1.11 per share in the quarter ended June 30, compared with $33.5 million, $1.04 per share, a year earlier. That matched analysts' expectations.
Dallas-based Suiza sells milk and other dairy goods under a variety of regional and national brands.
