Man suspected in four bank heists

He is a suspect in three other bank robberies.
FBI spokeswoman Pam McCullough said Leiffer is already wanted on a federal warrant for the July 10 robbery of City Bank in Kapahulu, the July 28 robbery of American Savings Bank's Kane'ohe-Kahuhipa branch and the July 30 robbery of American Savings in Pearl City. Law enforcement also has an outstanding parole revocation warrant on him.

Officials also said Leiffer wore a red baseball cap, sunglasses, shorts and a dark T-shirt with orange writing on the back during the bank robbery. He left on foot, heading northbound on Lagoon Drive.
Leiffer, 38, is Caucasian with wavy, neck-length brown hair. He is approximately 5 feet, 11 inches and weighs about 180 pounds.

Law officials asked that if anyone has any information, to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or the FBI at 566-4300. CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the suspect's arrest.
