Two charged in shooting

Two men were charged with attempted murder yesterday following a weekend "road rage" shooting on the North Shore.

Clint Soliven, 20, and Robert Nunies, 18, both from Wahiawa, face charges of second-degree attempted murder, use of a firearm in a commission of a felony and use of a firearm on a public roadway.

Soliven's bail is set at $75,000 and Nunies' is set at $25,000.

Police also arrested a juvenile, who has been referred to family court.

The men were driving on Kamehameha Highway near Hale'iwa late Saturday night when another car overtook them, police said. The two men pulled alongside the other car and fired two shots, police said.

The bullets struck the inside of the windshield. No one was injured.
