Share your Faith news, views

Advertiser Staff

Are you a lay worker, pastor, priest or other informed member of a faith group who has a story or message to share?

Maybe you'd like to see the story of your faith organization shared with the community. Or perhaps you'd like to have your organization's event listed in the Faith Calendar.

Whatever the case, the Faith section welcomes your letters.

• Expressions of Faith is a weekly column of views and stories written by people who are active in a faith organization. A column comprises 500-550 words and may be on any topic — explanation of a church's beliefs, for example, or discussion of a faith-related issue, or an insightful anecdote, or details about a project.

• Where We Worship is a weekly feature that spotlights a faith organization in Hawai'i, telling about its history, its beliefs and its program offerings. Write us a letter telling us what's special about your group.

• Faith Calendar items should be submitted at least 10 days in advance of the intended publication date. Please include date, time and location, plus a daytime telephone number. Listings run on a space-available basis.

All letters should include name, city and daytime phone number. E-mail faith@honoluluadvertiser.com or call the editor of the Faith section, Esme Infante Nii, at 525-8036.
