City Bank offers chance to invest

Advertiser Staff and News Services

City Bank is partnering with UVEST Investment Services, a North Carolina company, to offer investment services to customers.

The investment products will be in addition to estate, financial and tax planning services the company plans to offer through a newly created Investment Services Division.

"This new offering signals our bank's commitment to become more of a one-stop shop for a full range of financial services," said Ronald Migita, the bank's vice chairman and chief executive officer, in a statement yesterday.

The bank, a subsidiary of $1.7 billion CB Bancshares Inc., hired Royce Sonnenberg to oversee the new division. Sonnenberg formerly worked as a manager for Pacific Century Trust's private client services department.
