Bishop to undergo heart procedure

Hawai'i Bishop Francis DiLorenzo will undergo a heart catheterization Aug. 28 to investigate possible blockages in his arteries.
According to Patrick Downes, spokesman for the Catholic Diocese of Honolulu, the bishop underwent tests last month that showed there might be blockage.
Downes said the procedure involves inserting a tiny video camera into the arteries.
"It's nothing really serious, as far as I know, (doctors) just want to see if there is blockage and to what extent it is. Depending on what they find, they'll decide what to do next, anything from medication to surgery," he said.
According to Downes, DiLorenzo has had no prior surgery or heart problems.
