KidNews wants summer stories
Did you do something cool this summer? Here's your chance to tell KidNews readers all about it!
Write a letter about what you did over the summer. Maybe you learned a new skill or hobby, or tried something you always wanted to do. Or you volunteered, joined a program or traveled somewhere. Or you hung out with friends, or made new ones.
Whatever you did, pop a note to KidNews by the Sept. 5 postmark deadline, and we'll publish parts of as many letters as we can in a coming issue.
If you you've got an interesting, clear photo from your summer activities, you can send that along, too, although it's not required. Just make sure it's a spare copy because we can't return any pictures.
Write: Summer Scoop, 'Ohana Section, The Honolulu Advertiser, P.O. Box 3110, Honolulu, HI 96802, or fax 535-8170.
If you're 13 or older, you may write to us by e-mail ohana@honoluluæadvertiser.com. Please include your full name, age, school, hometown, name of parent(s) or guardian and phone number.
