Celebrations

Mitsuo and Shizuko Mansho of 'Aiea celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner hosted by their children, Gary Mansho and Irene Shaneff; their children's spouses, Carlina Bartalome and Carl Shaneff; and their grandchildren, Jason and Ryan Chatterley — on July 7 at La Mer in the Halekulani. The Manshos were married April 12, 1951, in Tokyo, and have two children and two grandchildren. He is a retired federal employee. She is an artist.

Charles and Ruby Yoshimura of Honolulu celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner given by their son, Michael Yoshimura, and their daughter, Diane Beirne, on June 4 at The Willows. The Yoshimuras were married Dec. 29, 1940, at Kealia, Kaua'i, and they have three children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They are retired.
