Wendy S. Cugal, daughter of Gwen and David Kim of Pukalani and the late Joseph Cugal, and Ricardo Namoca Jr., son of Ricardo Namoca Sr. and Zenaida Namoca of 'Aiea, were married May 26 at Calvary-By-The-Sea Lutheran Church in 'Aina Haina. The reception followed at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort. The bride, now Wendy S. Namoca, is an independent representative for a soy distributor. The groom is a hospital resource specialist. They live in 'Aiea.

Stefanie Yoko Sakamoto, daughter of Mike and Kathleen Sakamoto of Hilo, and Stewart Sadao Sato, son of Isaac and Amy Sato of Honolulu, were married on June 23 at Puna Hongwanji Mission in Kea'au. The reception followed at Harrington's Restaurant in Hilo. The bride (1994 Waiakea High, 1998 University of Hawai'i-Hilo bachelor's), now Stefanie Yoko Sakamoto-Sato, is an escrow assistant and free-lance writer. The groom (1987 Roosevelt High) is an account services representative. They live in Honolulu.
