OHA trustee reports net worth of $7.6 million

Office of Hawaiian Affairs trustee Charles Ota is one of the wealthiest elected officials in the state, according to financial disclosures filed with the state Ethics Commission.
According to this year's statements, the Maui businessman has a net worth of $7.6 million.
Trustee Clayton Hee listed his income as a prison consultant between $50,000 and $100,000.
Trustee Oswald Stender listed more than $125,000 in earnings in the past year from serving as director or trustee on several companies including Hawaiian Electric Industries.
Trustee John Waihe'e IV made $16,000, plus his OHA salary of $32,000 a year, as a bar manager at Keo's restaurant in Waikiki.
