Wahine volleyball opener on delayed TV

Portions of the University of Hawai'i's matches in the State Farm Volleyball Classic will be shown delayed on ESPN2, it was announced.

Highlights of Friday's matches will be shown from 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday, according to spokespersons at the University of the Pacific and at Oceanic Cable.

Saturday's championship match will be shown Monday from 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m. It also will be televised Tuesday from 7 a.m. on ESPN.

The matches will be played at the University of the Pacific's Spanos Center in Stockton, Calif.

The fifth-ranked Wahine play No. 1-ranked Nebraska and No. 4 Wisconsin plays No. 15 UOP in Friday's first round.
