The Warriors will open the 2002 football season against Division I-AA Eastern Illinois at Aloha Stadium, then play the following Saturday at Brigham Young, according to schedules made available to the media yesterday.

Oct. 26: Fresno State
Nov. 3: San Jose State
Nov. 10: Boise State
Nov. 17: Miami (Ohio)
Nov. 24: Air Force
Dec. 1: Brigham Young
Next year's non-conference games will be played against Eastern Illinois (Aug. 31), Brigham Young (Sept. 7), Cincinnati (Nov. 23), Washington State (Nov. 30) and San Diego State (Dec. 7).
In 2003, UH's non-conference opponents are Akron (Aug. 30), Southern California (Sept. 13 in Los Angeles), Nevada-Las Vegas (Sept. 20 at Boyd Stadium), Army (Nov. 22) and Virginia (Nov. 29).
In 2004, Sacramento State (Sept. 11), BYU (Oct. 2), Idaho (Nov. 20) and Northwestern (Nov. 27) are scheduled. In 2005, UH opens against USC (Sept. 3) and ends against Wisconsin (Nov. 26) and San Diego State (Dec. 3).
