The Honolulu Advertiser's Pigskin Picks, the only football game of chance worth playing, is bigger and better. It will begin with ballots available in The Advertiser starting Monday, Sept. 3.
Besides lasting longer — 17 weeks, the length of the NFL regular season — Pigskin Picks, also presented by Hula Bowl Maui, raised its weekly prize four-fold.
Each week, a winner will receive the aforementioned trip and cash. The trip, courtesy of Non Stop Travel, Worry Free Vacations, is valued at $1,500 and covers air fare and hotel accommodations. Last year, Pigskin Picks offered $500 to each winner.
Also, a runner-up weekly prize has been added. Tesoro Hawai'i will give a $50 gift certificate for gas. Other prizes from Fujifilm, VoiceStream and Hawaiian Isles Water Company will be given.
All entries will qualify for the Grand Prize drawing for a use of a Chrysler Sebring convertible for one year.
