HELMUTH W. HORMANN, 92, of 'Aiea, died Aug. 21, 2001. Born in Watertown, Wis. A retired Pasadena Playhouse of Theater Arts teacher. Survived by sister, Irmgard; nieces, Sylvia Hormann-Alper, Pauline Jacroux and the Rev. Phyllis Hormann. Memorial service 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lutheran Church of Honolulu. No flowers. KENNETH J. JESSOP, of Kahului, Maui, died Aug. 25, 2001. Born in London. Outrigger Hotels safety and fire specialist, Maui County enforcement officer for OSHA and hula troupe coordinator. Survived by wife, Drena; Hawai'i family: sons, Perry and Shane Bateman; daughter, Aki Kepler and seven grandchildren; and England family: son, Mark; daughter, Caroline; one granddaughter; and brother, Peter.
