The senior quarterback completed 19 of 38 passes for 469 yards and three touchdowns in a 26-20 victory over Kaiser. He fell 12 yards short of the OIA single-game record of 481 yards set by Roosevelt's Andrew Kamanao in 1991.

The senior receiver set an OIA single-game record with 13 receptions (for 135 yards and two touchdowns) in a loss to Roosevelt. The previous record of 11 was shared by Kalaheo's Kimo Lee (in 1978) and 'Aiea's Vincent Johnson (1994).

The junior linebacker/slotback made six unassisted tackles, including two sacks, in addition to two fumble recoveries and one pass deflection in a 10-6 victory over Moanalua. He also blocked a punt that resulted in the game's only touchdown, and caught two passes for 23 yards.

The senior defensive lineman intercepted a pass and returned it 64 yards for a TD to help give the Red Raiders a 34-0 halftime lead against Kaimuki. Tachibana was named Kahuku's defensive MVP in its 41-13 win.

Rayson Cacal, Waimea The junior running back rushed for 138 yards on 17 carries and broke a 57-year Kaua'i record for touchdowns in a preseason game with five in a 45-0 victory over Hilo.
David Chu, Kaiser The senior quarterback completed 23 of 40 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for another score in a loss to Roosevelt.
Taualai Fonoti, St. Louis The senior linebacker made 13 tackles in a 40-7 victory over San Clemente (Calif.).
Andrew Hale, Waipahu The junior tailback rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries in a 41-0 victory over Kalani.
Nathan Leaver, Kailua The junior running back rushed for 163 yards, including an 87-yard touchdown, on eight carries in a 35-14 victory over Campbell.
Jerry Perreira, Roosevelt The senior receiver caught eight passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns in a victory over Kaiser.
