State horseshoe event on tap

The Hawai'i State Horseshoe Pitcher's Association state championships will be held tomorrow through Monday at the Wai'anae Boat Harbor.

This year's field will be one of the largest for the tournament, with 62 participants from around the state scheduled to compete.

Action begins each day at 8 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. There is no admission charge for spectators.

The class championship, featuring classifications from A-G based on ringer percentage, will be tomorrow. Sunday will be the women's championship and Monday will be the men's championship.

Information on how to join the Hawai'i State Horseshoe Pitcher's Association will be available at the tournament. For more information, contact Warren Visher at 754-7486.
