Australia flights to be nonstop

Air Canada launched nonstop service yesterday between Honolulu and Melbourne, Australia.

Air Canada, the only carrier to provide nonstop service between Hawai'i and Melbourne, will offer three flights a week on that route, using 212-seat Boeing 767-300 aircraft.

The service originates in Toronto, with nonstop service to Honolulu continuing on to Melbourne.
