Piano 'Nutcracker' at governor's home

For the fourth consecutive year, a twin-piano "Nutcracker" will be staged at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Washington Place. Students from Ernest Chang Piano Studio will perform the Tchaikovsky piece. The program is presented by Hawai'i Public Radio; Gov. and Mrs. Ben Cayetano play host.

Performers, in the order at the keyboards, will be Sarah Hiramatsu, Dylan Weber, Christy Kokami, Stephanie Le, Elise Tran, Michal Grace Mirasol, Raymond Luong, Brett Imamura, Austin Au, John Berean, Tami Yamashita, Nadine Mitake, Kathleen Endo, Momoko Kurahashi, Mandy Nakamura, Joy Taiua, Randi Ozaki, Kristine Ganibe, Elvina Zhang, Stephanie Lum, Cory Nicely, Jamie Nicely, Ayla Weiss and Lauren Weiss. In addition to the "Nutcracker" music, featuring an arrangement by Edouard Hesselberg, holiday classics also will be rendered. Tickets: $15 ($10 for children 12 and under). Reservations: 955-8821.

DHT's 'Annie' adds two matinee shows

Diamond Head Theatre's holiday musical, "Annie," which opened Friday, has added two matinee performances, at 3 p.m. Dec. 8 and 15. Because of double-casting in the lead role, Kristina Sault will perform the title role at both matinees. The character performs the show-stopping tune,

"Tomorrow." Regular performances are at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 4 p.m. Sundays, through Dec. 16. Tickets: $10 to $40. Reservations: 733-0274.

Larrin-DeLima tickets on sale

Tickets are on sale for the Christmas Eve concert featuring singer-pianist Jay Larrin and comedian Frank DeLima, set from 6 p.m. Dec. 24 at the Hibiscus Ballroom, Ala Moana Hotel. No-host cocktails begin at 6 p.m., with a dinner buffet served from 6:30 p.m. The show will be from 7:30 to 9:15 p.m. Tickets: $50, $35 for children 12 and under, available between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily, at the hotel's concierge desk.
