New editor for features sections

Elizabeth Kieszkowski has been named features editor of The Honolulu Advertiser.
Kieszkowski, 41, came to The Advertiser in May 2001 as an assistant editor in the Island Life and Hawai'i sections. She came to the Islands in 1996 as editor of Honolulu Weekly.
Kieszkowski has a law degree from the University of California, Davis. As a journalist, she has covered education, the environment, government and the arts in California and Hawai'i.
Kieszkowski, who will be responsible for all features sections including Island Life, Taste, 'Ohana, Travel, Words & Music and TGIF, succeeds Wanda Adams, who stepped down Oct. 5 to return to writing.
