• The Hawai'i Territorial Guard remained active throughout World War II, though federal authorities forced Japanese Americans to leave the organization. A Local News story yesterday, which included paraphrasing of a speaker's remarks, contained incorrect information.

• A National Park Service banquet will be from 6 to 10:30 p.m. tonight at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and will include 1940s music and a jitterbug dance contest. Because of a reporter's mistake, a Local News story yesterday had the wrong day for the event.
