Only 900 tickets remain for UH-BYU game

Advertiser Staff

About 900 tickets remain for Saturday's football game between Hawai'i and unbeaten Brigham Young, according to Aloha Stadium general manager Eddie Hayashi.

"It's going to be a sellout by tomorrow," Hayashi predicted.

The only tickets remaining in the 50,000-seat facility are in the yellow sections (top level) of the north and south end zones. Those cost $20 for adults and $16 for senior citizens and students.

UH's last sellout was against Portland State in the 2000 season opener.

UH's last sellout for a season-ending game was against Notre Dame in 1991.

BYU brings a national ranking (No. 9 in the AP poll, No. 8 in the USA Today/ESPN poll) and a 12-0 record against UH, which is 8-3.

The game starts at 11:05 a.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN2. The stadium parking lot opens at 7:30 with stadium entry opening at 8 a.m.
