UH Wahine fall to UCLA in NCAA regional game

UCLA put an end to the University of Hawai'i Wahine's volleyball seasaon, in an NCAA West Region semi-final match at Long Beach, Calif., today.

The scores were 30-25, 30-28, 22-30 and 30-22.

Kim Willoughby led the Wahine with 35 kills and Maja Gustin added 16 kills.

The Wahine ended their season 29-5. UCLA's record is 21-8.

The Bruins, who outblocked UH 15-3, will play the winner of Long Beach State versus Northern Iowa, a match that is to be played later tonight.
