Restaurant Row plans holiday show

A free holiday program, featuring the cast members of Diamond Head Theatre's "Annie" and Shooting Stars, will be staged at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Restaurant Row.

The complex's patriotic red, white and blue tree will be lit.

Ballet Hawai'i will present an excerpt of its "Nutcracker" production with KSSK's Sweetie Pacarro as narrator. Santa also will appear.

Singer-surfer sets World Cafe date

Jack Johnson, Hawai'i-born singer, surfer, musician and filmmaker, will appear at 8 p.m. Dec. 21 at the World Cafe. Doors open at 7 p.m.

He will perform tunes from his debut CD, "Brushfire Fairytales," and also screen his surfing film, "September Sessions."

Tickets: $15, on sale at Tower Records Kahala and Pearl Kai, Tower Video Kapi'olani, Cheapo Music and Hungry Ear.

Kaimuki ready for 'Christmas Eve'

"Christmas Eve on Avenue B," a holiday one-act by Brett Joubert, will be presented by Prosperity Corner at 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Dec. 21-22 at Prosperity Corner, 1151 12th Ave., in Kaimuki.
