Senior forward scored 56 points in three games to lead the Mustangs to the championship of the James Alegre Invitational at Radford.

Kamehameha football

Senior running back was the West squad's Most Valuable Offensive Player after rushing for 46 yards on six carries and also catching four passes in the Hawai'i Union Builders Goodwill Classic.

ABU MA'AFALA

Kamehameha football

Senior defensive lineman was named the West squad's Most Valuable Defensive Player after returning a fumble 57 yards for a touchdown in the Hawai'i Union Builders Goodwill Classic.

TYLER MCCREADY

Iolani basketball

Senior post player scored 17 points to help the Raiders defeat Radford in the semifinals of the James Alegre Invitational and 15 points in the championship game against Kalaheo.

NOLAN MIRANDA

Castle football

Senior kicker was named the East squad's Most Valuable Offensive Player after making field goals of 37 and 47 yards in a 27-19 victory over the West in the Hawai'i Union Builders Goodwill Classic.

SOLONI TAUMALOLO

Kaimuki football

Senior defensive lineman was named the East squad's Most Valuable Defensive Player after helping limit the West to 48 yards rushing in a 27-19 victory at the Hawai'i Union Builders Goodwill Classic.

Other standouts

RESHAUN BROADUS, Mililani basketball — Senior scored 23 points in a 53-50 victory over Moanalua and 25 points in a 70-63 loss to Kaimuki in the McKinley Black and Gold Tournament.

TRACI KUTAKA, Punahou softball — Pitcher tossed a two-hitter, striking out nine, to lead the Buffanblu to a 2-1 victory over Mid-Pacific.

CHERILYN LIGOT, Farrington softball — Senior pitched the Governors to victories over Kalaheo and Kalani and went a combined 5-for-9 at the plate in the two games.

JANA LEE MEDEIROS, Maui softball — Pitcher entered the game in the bottom of the first inning with a 6-0 deficit and shut out King Kekaulike the rest of the way to help the Sabers to a 9-6 victory. She struck out five and also went 3-for-4 at the plate.

MICHAEL PROCTOR, Castle basketball — Scored 14 points to lead the Knights to a 46-44 victory over Pearl City in the semifinals of the Pearl City Invitational and 17 points in a 64-61 victory over Mid-Pacific in the championship game.
