For more than two decades, you've seen her on everything from purses to pencils, and T-shirts to toasters, but do you really know her?

Hello Kitty fans can enjoy a decade-by-decade "her-story" about the friendly feline and international phenomenon in a new book by Marie Moss: "Hello Kitty, Hello Everything!" (Abrams Inc., $17.95).

The book includes lots of color photos of Hello Kitty collectibles and interesting personal facts. Some things you may not have known about that bow-wearing cutey: Her full name is Kitty White, she's "exactly five apples tall" and has a twin sister, Mimmy.

The book is available at all major bookstores including Borders and Barnes & Noble.
