'Vanilla Sky' cocktail

Anticipating that the Tom Cruise-Penelope Cruz movie "Vanilla Sky," opening today, might draw its share of fans, a Vanilla Sky cocktail has been concocted and is being promoted in New York.

The makers figure if Shrek can trigger green beverages, why not a drink influenced by "Vanilla"? Never mind that it doesn't actually have vanilla in it. The recipe, so you can make it yourself:

3/4 fl oz. gold rum
3/4 fl oz. Tuaca Liqueur
2 oz. fresh orange juice
3 oz. ginger ale

Build all ingredients in a highball glass, filled with ice, and stir; garnish with a slice of orange.
