Can you help George slim down? At the Cat House, he is acting a bit timid. In a home environment, George is a friendly guy who shows affection toward people, both children and adults, plus he enjoys the company of other cats.

Cocoa has a gorgeous winter coat that she wears all year long. This fluffy brown and gray keeshond/spitz mix is looking for a family that will love her for years to come. Since she is only 1 year old, Cocoa is very playful and would do best in a home with older children and adults.

Animals adopted during December go home with a free toy. Your new best friend might be Cocoa; come and meet her at the Hawaiian Humane Society.

The Hawaiian Humane Society is open Monday through Friday, noon to 8 p.m., and weekends, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for adoptions and reclaiming lost pets.
