Fun House
Son politely refuses challenge
On a beautifully clear, sunny November day, it seemed like a fine time for a swim for my wife, daughter and son in the pool. Uniformed in their bathing suits, they marched with water wings and boogie boards in hand. After a ritual shower, they tested the water in the pool and found it quite cold. The girls muttered to each other, "It's cold! You go in, Chaddy."
My four-year-old son, framed in mere skin and bone, politely answered, "Ladies first."
