BYU-Hawai'i races past New Mexico State, 94-84

Keli'i Naihe scored 30 points and Alexis Foyle 27 as Brigham Young-Hawai'i beat New Mexico State, 94-84, last night in a semifinal of the Yahoo! Sports Invitational at Cannon Activities Center.
BYUH (9-3) will play Tulsa in tonight's championship game.
Naihe shot 10-of-14 from the field, including 6-of-8 from 3-point range.
Foyle, who also had nine rebounds, scored 10 points in the first five minutes as BYUH took an early lead. The Seasiders had a 46-39 advantage at the half and built it to as many as 20 after intermission.
Point guard Yuta Tabuse had 13 assists for BYUH.
Brandon Mason led New Mexico State (5-5) with 13 points.
In other games yesterday:
Tulsa 92, Montana 82: Antonio Reed scored 20 points all but two in the second half and the rest of the starting lineup scored at least 11 points each as Tulsa (8-1) beat Montana (5-6) in the other semifinal.
Dante Swanson, Greg Harrington and Kevin Johnson each scored 14 points, and Charlie Davis added 11 for the Golden Hurricane.
David Bell led Montana with 15 points and reserve Sam Riddle contributed 14.
Tulsa led by as many as 13 points in the second half. Montana twice got to within six points, but each time Tulsa answered, pushing its lead back to double digits.
Valparaiso 71, Columbia 55: Raitis Grafs scored 17 points and Valparaiso (8-3) and forced Columbia (6-4) into 24 turnovers in a consolation game.
Treg Duerksen scored 15 points for Columbia.
Buffalo 63, Navy 54: Darcell Williams scored 19 points and Louis Campbell 15 as Buffalo 6-3) beat Navy (2-7) in a consolation game.

Chaminade triumphs: Albert Powell hit six 3-pointers and scored 21 points as Chaminade held off Colorado Christian, 78-72, last night at Lakewood, Colo.
Mike Donegan added 18 points and nine rebounds, and Jaborri Thomas contributed 15 points and seven rebounds for Chaminade, which led 40-24 at the half.
Clinton Fuller scored 16 points for Colorado Christian, which trailed by as many as 22 before rallying late in the game.
Chaminade improved to 5-4 while Colorado Christian fell to 5-5.
