Fireworks permits information

If you're planning to buy fireworks, you'll need a permit.
The city issues permits for $25 each to purchase 5,000 firecrackers. You can buy an unlimited number of permits. Fireworks can be legally set off between 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve to 1 a.m. New Year's Day.
Those 18 years of age and older can buy the permits at satellite city halls through Monday. For general information on setting off fireworks, call 831-7764.
